During her over 20-year career as a nurse, Carmela was known as the go-to person for challenging and difficult stick patients. After her daughter’s leukemia diagnosis in 2013, Carmela wondered if her talents with a needle could be directed toward fostering health and wellness, instead of just after-the-fact treatment. As she nursed Alessandra through multiple ER visits and chemotherapy, she embraced the mindset that, if possible, preventing disease and promoting and maintaining optimal health is better and less expensive than treating an illness when it has already occurred.
Based on this belief, IV Zensations was born. More than just the latest trend in healthcare, IV Zensations is a small business dedicated to bringing balance at a cellular level to the community of Harford County, Maryland. Our team is comprised of medical professionals, registered nurses and nurse practitioners with 30+ years combined experience dedicated to fostering and maintaining optimal health through IV vitamin therapy. We only hire medical professionals who are equally as passionate and driven in promoting wellness and disease prevention as we are. We are more than just a business—you can trust that our priority will always be your health.
Preventive healthcare is becoming increasingly popular for people who want to take a proactive approach to their health and stay ahead of the medical curve. We want to empower everyday people like you to take charge of your own health by helping to restore and optimize your body’s natural balance at a cellular level. Your time is too valuable to risk losing it to recovery from illness. That’s why we want to help boost your immunity, quickly and efficiently.
To build a healthier community, one IV DRIP at a time.

Carmela’s passion for health is more than just professional. As a busy single mother of 3 boys and 1 girl, she's no stranger to the ER, and knows what a drain on time, energy, and finances it can be. She began her fitness journey in 2014 and enjoys doing her own meal preps. She had the opportunity to test her physical endurance when she finished the Spartan race in 2018. You can spot her regularly at the local gym or you might just run into her at the Ma & Pa trail in Bel Air.
